Healthcare processing firm in Latham to close, costing 53 jobs
DST Health Solutions LLC has notified the state Department of Labor that it will close its operation at 1 Mustang Drive in Latham later this year, costing 53 employees their jobs. Layoffs will begin April 30, when 20 people will be laid off, followed by another five layoffs on May 28, nine on June 25, and 19 on Sept. 3.
Officials at DST in Latham and at its headquarters in Birmingham, Ala., couldn’t be reached for comment.
Labor Department spokesman Leo Rosales said the department would reach out to the company to see what it could do to assist the affected workers.
